FIRST BOOK REVIEW ROCKS and DOWNLOADS FOR HARVEY RELIEF

THE FIRST REVIEW OF MY BOOK IS OUT!
AND I HAVE TO SAY I'M VERY PLEASED AND DEEPLY APPRECIATIVE.

One thing we artists enjoy more than most anything is when anybody, but especially a reviewer, understands what we were going for with any given creative endeavor. Writer/reviewer Sarah Jane Clarke from Oxford, UK, delighted me with a virtual heart and mind read of my book. Here's her take on it:

https://beat.media/a-guide-to-the-outback-musician-s-survival-guide

That link will lead you to Amazon, where it appears they're selling fairly fast. It says they've got more on the way. I dunno, they order through the publishing house directly. Just in case, you can also find them on Barnes & Noble:

Or you can get them through my bookshop. If you're curious, this is where I make the most money. Honestly though, I'm thrilled for sales through any outlet. From a PR standpoint, the more copies the big sellers see moving, the more they do to make the title accessible. There's your little online marketing lesson for the day.

I HAVE A SWEET DEAL UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER.

MY BOOK AND THE FULL BAND CD FOR $20 (Free Shipping):

That's The Outback Musician's Survival Guide ($15 retail) and my 2009 full band release Minutes To Circle ($10 retail) with FREE SHIPPING (about $3-4)... for an even $20 total.

MY FEATURED SHOW THIS WEEK:

Friday, September 15th from 7:30 to 9:30pm
House Concert Lifestream
from Phil Circle Music

That's the location from which I send these messages, teach my students, practice, and generally live and work here in Chicago.

I'll have a small "studio" audience in our big room, and will be streaming live through two outlets:

http://www.facebook.com/philcircle (Like me?)

http://www.youtube.com/philcircle (Subscribe?)

Phil Circle Music is my little business name. You can even find me on Google maps:

https://www.google.com/search?site=&source=hp&q=Phil+Circle+Music,+Chicago,+IL&oq=phil+circle+music&gs_l=psy-ab.1.1.0j38.1974.5800.0.10143.17.17.0.0.0.0.201.2039.2j14j1.17.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..0.17.2036...0i131k1j0i10k1j0i22i30k1.DkGwn2mQgbQ

Whoa, that's one long URL! Basically, search "Phil Circle Music+Google Maps" and you'll see it. I actually use this to post various updates and can always use some ratings to be added. (Review me?)

YA STILL GOT FREEBIES COMING TO YOU!

There's here:

http://www.reverbnation.com/philcircle

If you haven't snagged them, please don't be shy or feel bad about getting something for free. I wouldn't do it if I didn't want to. And it's not some act of desperation (oh, please listen!), I've got stuff for sale everywhere. For example, CDBaby is my primary source of distribution to most every outlet for downloads and streaming. Check this out:

ALL PROCEEDS FROM DIGITAL DOWNLOADS WILL GO TO HARVEY RELIEF!

That's right! CDBaby is donating all their proceeds from digital downloads to relief for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Unfortunately, I suspect Irma will cause an extension of this.

Go to my page and when you buy a download, that's happening through CDBaby:

http://philcirclemusic.com/music_listen__buy/

Again, every download you purchase is through my main distributor CDBaby and they're donating all their proceeds to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Have a great weekend and I hope you're safe and well. Send some good vibes to those less fortunate.

Peace and the arts.
